Meet Aurelia

The Purpose Navigator

Hi my name is Aurelia and I'm the author of The Golden Mindset. So, you may be asking yourself, “Who is she, who is that life size teddy bear she's holding and what exactly does she do?”

Well, I am the Purpose Navigator: A Liberian entrepreneur keynote speaker who was raised in Atlanta, Georgia. I specialize in helping moms live a purposeful life through a mindset I've developed called The Golden Mindset.

And this little guy- I mean 25+ pound 11-month-old, is my son U'Riah. But before he steals the show, let's back up a bit.

Around the age of 14, I discovered I was gifted at transforming people through life’s adversities.

What does a 14-year-old know?
Well, everyone has an old soul in their family and I was that person in mine

I was the old soul of the family who enjoyed sharing my wisdom with those who benefited.

I would help women of all ages understand the power in their circumstances and that nothing they were going through was unintentional.

People would always thank me for empowering them and would tell me, “Wow, you’re so young but so wise.” That’s when I realized that I developed a mindset that differed from my peers. I truly enjoyed using my wisdom and previous experiences to be selfless in empowering women to accomplish and attain their desires.

I knew I would someday be pouring into millions of women from all over the world. But never in a million, did I imagine that it would be for moms.

Those that knew me as a child, would imagine otherwise because the truth is, I was a mom long before I had my son. I'm the oldest of four siblings so growing up, I was always with them while others my age got a chance to be a child. Although I knew it was unfair and couldn't make sense of it, being forced to grow up, literally prepared me for the day I actually became a mom.

Fast Forward

It wasn't long, though, until I realized that the cards had turned and I was the one needing the uplifting. When it was time for me to actually begin my life, I found myself in college, working restaurant jobs and allowing my happiness to slip away.

Something was missing.

“You’re still young; you still have time,” people would tell me.

So, remember when I told you about having this feeling deep down that I was created to speak and empower?

Well, that was at the bottom of my to-do list, and I figured upon graduating college, I would then tap back into that happiness and everything would be OK. But man, was I wrong.

At a glance, they may have been right, but what they failed to understand is when you’re passionate about something and know you’ve found your purpose, there is no waiting. You must begin acting upon it immediately. It took me a while to fully understand the importance of that. It took years of fear, procrastination and trying to live up to cultural standards for me to realize I was what was missing.

I was neglecting to do what I was put on this earth to do. I was sacrificing my happiness for a life I knew I didn’t want.

Reliving My Childhood All Over Again

Remember how I told you my childhood prepared me for when I actually became a mom? Yeah well, it has taking me quite some time to realize that. While I was alone majority of the time with our newborn while his father would travel for work, it felt just as if I was that little girl back in 2010 alone with my sister (the other two weren't born yet). Being in the middle of a no contact pandemic didn't make those feelings any much easier either. At times I would think to myself, "is this really it, is this where it ends?" As I watched my neighbors all older and established some with children, some without.

Being in a neighborhood surrounded by families who were settled down with kids made me feel like I had grown up a bit too fast. Made me feel like I no longer wanted that title of old soul or wise beyond her years.

But then I remembered I asked for happiness, I asked to tap into a new dimension of my life so I reminded myself that this wasn't the end, this wasn't where it had to end but rather where it would begin. Where I would look back and say I really overcame a pandemic with a newborn baby as a 21-year-old business owner.

So I wasn't reliving my childhood, my childhood experiences are why I was able to mentally survive being a young mom during a pandemic.

Life Can Change Quickly

As I'm writing this, a year ago on this day, I felt like I was reliving my childhood despite my accomplishments.

The year before that, I was unhappy, stuck in college and living unintentionally.

Now, it's just my son and I and I have no choice but to live life intentionally.

*See, unlike most I'm not afraid to share the process. Many like to only show the end result and sell you their success story. So being transparent I have temporarily gone back to waiting tables but not in the same aspect as in college. I'm so much more than that now I'm happy, a mom, an author, business owner, and someone who will never sacrifice their happiness for others.

*And neither should you. As a mom you'll be faced with many obstacles.
your actions now effect someone else's life. Show your child or children
build that relationship you never had with your parents
etc talk to them enough about me thats what presentation is for.
So here's how this benefits you
Today I specialize in helping
